City View Programs

Day Programs:

  • Day Men: A draw division. Games Monday/Wednesday/Friday @ 9:00/11:00/1:00 and Tuesday/Thursday @ 11:15. Teams are drawn each week based upon who signs up to curl that week and on what day. Inter-club play takes place during the year. There is a Friday lunch during curling season and a golf schedule in the summer. Half-year memberships are available for 3 consecutive months either October to December or January to March.
  • Day Ladies: This division has draws on Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 9:15 and 1:15. The Match Committee draws teams 3 times a year at the beginning of each trophy round. This division is also involved in inter-club bonspiels during the year. Half-year memberships are available for 3 consecutive months either October to December or January to March.
  • Day Fixed Rink League:  Draws at 1pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.  Open to men and women.

Evening/Weekend Programs:

  • Evening Open: A fixed team division with draws Monday through Thursday evenings rotating between 7 and 9 p.m. Individual members will be placed on teams with vacancies. Open to men and women.  The league is full for the 2011/2012 season.
  • Monday Evening Ladies: A fixed team division, but individual members will be placed on teams with vacancies. Draws: Monday evening from 5:00-7:00. Capacity 28 players.
  • Friday Mixed: A fixed team division with draws at 5:30; 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Teams change draw times each week. Capacity 21 teams.
  • Sunday Mixed: A fun division with draw curling at 3:00 p.m. Instruction and coaching is provided.
  • Saturday Mixed Recreational League:

Looking for a fun way to spend Saturday evenings this winter?  The Saturday Evening Mixed Recreational league is looking for both teams and players to participate in the 2011/2012 curling season.  Beginners and less experienced curlers are encouraged to join this league as we will provide clinics and instruction for new players at the beginning of the season.  If you are signing up as a single player or as a couple, we will place you on a team with other players of the same skill-level.  Teams are separated into advanced and beginner divisions.  Advanced teams must have two females and two males on their roster. The season begins in early October and runs until mid-April. Draws run at 2, 4, 6 and 8pm.  There is a $50 discount applied for all new members of Saturday Mixed who are also new members to the club.

  • Sunday Mixed Recreational League:
The Sunday Mixed Division’s focus is learning the game of curling while having fun in a non-competitive game. New curlers will be given instruction and coached by the more experienced players (some of whom play in other divisions here at City View) while experienced players can sharpen their skills and try positions they may not normally play in.

Youth Program:

  • Little Rock/Bantam/Junior: Youth curling from 1:00 -3:00 every Sunday. Qualified instruction is available.
  • Thursday Evening Youth: An interclub fixed "competitive" team division for curlers 18 years of age and under. Weekly draws occur Thursday evening from 4:45 to 6:45pm.

Other Programs:

  • Special Olympics: Curling will take place on Friday from 3 to 5pm
