Ring in 2026 country-style at City View Curling Club!

Kick up your heels with live music and dancing from Terry Marcotte & the Ottawa Valley Outlaws, enjoy fun games, a 50/50 draw, light snacks, and a midnight toast for those who wish to partake.

Tickets: $20 in advance, $25 at the door (if space allows).

We expect to see you in your hats, plaid, jeans, and boots. There may even be prizes for the best-dressed wrangler.

This event is open to everyone, so please invite your family and friends.

The Annual City View Scotch Doubles Spiel is back, and this year, we’re going bigger than ever!

We are thrilled to announce that we have expanded to include a NEW Triples Open Division. Whether you prefer the classic dynamic of a duo or the strategy of a trio, we have a spot for you on the ice.

Why play? Beyond the broomstacking, this event is famous for two things: legendary BBQ and our "Ryder Cup" style showdown. Every registered rink is drafted onto one of two mega-teams for a weekend-long head-to-head battle for bragging rights!

• Friday Night: Chicken Wings & Jalapeno Poppers

• Saturday Lunch: Pulled Pork

• Saturday Dinner: Pork Ribs & Beans

• Plus: A Calcutta held during Saturday lunch!

• 36 TEAM FORMAT
  • Doubles: Ladies (8 teams) and Open Divisions (16 teams)
  • Triples Open Division (12 teams)
  • Event Winner for each Division
• Scotch Doubles Division: $240 + HST per team - EARLY Bird by Dec 13th
• • 6 end games (3 games guaranteed)
  • Each player throws 3 rocks (first 3 or last 3)
  • After each end the players switch positions
  • No sweeping allowed until the far hog-line
• Scotch Triples Division: $360 + HST per team - EARLY Bird by Dec 13th
  • 6 end games (3 games guaranteed)
  • Each player throws 2 rocks 
  • After every second end the players rotate positions
  • Only one sweeper allowed between hog-lines

Cheers to 5 Years! The Hops & Rocks Mixed Bonspiel is Back! 

Mark your calendars for February 20-22, because City View’s favorite party on ice is turning five! We are pulling out all the stops for the 5th Annual Hops & Rocks, bringing you a weekend packed with great curling, incredible food, and live entertainment that will rock the house.

From an all-new Friday Night Soup Cook-Off to the infamous Beer Wagon, this isn't just a bonspiel—it’s a celebration. Whether you're aiming for the button or just eyeing the beer tastings, this is the mid-winter weekend you don’t want to miss.

The Lineup:

• Friday: Kick off with the Soup Cook-Off and live tunes from CVCC’s own Brett Gutoskie and Ryan Crawford.
• Saturday: Fuel up with lunch, enjoy a Lasagna Dinner by Chef Ric's, and dance the night away to Table 9.
• All Weekend: 3-game guarantee, prizes, raffles, and the Beer Wagon rolling through!

The Format:

• Mixed Teams (2 Males / 2 Females)
• Alternating throwing order
