• This will be YOUR FIRST chance to use the club's New Rocks!

IMPORTANT ** due to high interest, we have run out of spots for full team entries, however if you want to come celebrate we will ensure that everyone gets a chance with the new rocks who wants it (See the Hit, Draw, Tap Competition!)

• Sign up as a team/group  (of 4) or as individuals.
• Curling will be one, six end game. 
• We'll max out at 20 teams.
• **NEW we will be hosting a team based Hit, Draw, Tap competition with the new rocks throughout the evening to ensure that everyone gets a chance to try out the new rocks!!

• Don't want to curl? Register as an individual and indicate on the registration form.

• Official unveiling of the new rocks and the first draw will begin at 6:00 pm. Party goes until January 1st! A full schedule will be released closer to the date!
• Members and non-members, curlers and non-curlers are welcome! It's a New Years' party!

• Price ($30+tax)
• Includes curling, fantastic appetizers throughout the evening and a complimentary glass of sparkling wine at midnight!
• Dancing & lots of other fun activities!

City View Curling Club's 12th Annual BBQ Scotch Doubles

Jan 24-25, 2025

Two Person Teams @ $200.00/team + tax:

• 36 TEAM FORMAT (Men’s, Ladies and Mixed Divisions)
• Event Winner for each Division
• Ryder Cup Team Winner (City View Teams VS ‘The World’ Teams) 
• This registration is for the "The World" team. If you are registering for the City View Team, use the registration at https://cityviewcurling.ca/index.php/events/event-booking/bonspiel/2025-bbq-scotch-doubles-cvcc
• Scotch Doubles Format
  • 6 end games (3 games guaranteed)
  • Each player throws 3 rocks (first 3 or last 3)
  • After each end the players switch positions
  • No sweeping allowed until the far hog-line
• Friday night snacks: Chicken Wings & Jalapeno Poppers
• Saturday lunch: Pulled Pork 
• Sunday dinner: Pork Ribs and Beans
• Calcutta to be held at lunch on Saturday

The 4th Annual Hops & Rocks Mixed Bonspiel

$420/team + tax

Registration includes:

• Three games guaranteed
• Friday night chilli dinner
• Saturday lunch
• Catered BBQ chicken dinner on Saturday night 
• Entertainment on Saturday night with music by The Derringers
• Beer tastings throughout the weekend
