Day Men
The Day Men’s League provides recreational daytime draws for men wishing to maintain a level of fitness or to refine their curling skills in an enjoyable, low intensity atmosphere. During the season, teams are set weekly based upon who signs up to curl that week on the day(s) they choose. Members are assured two games per week. The league hosts two bonspiels: a fall bonspiel and a spring bonspiel held jointly with the Day Ladies League. Christmas and end of season games and lunches add to the congeniality of the league.
Day Men curl at 9:00am on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Day Ladies (Tuesdays)
Day Ladies is a recreational curling league that encourages the inclusion of all levels of experience in the sport while promoting social fellowship, skill improvement and fun. Members can curl at 9 am or 1:20 pm on Tuesday and/or Thursday. You can play on one day or both with no extra cost for the second day of play, the majority of Members opting for both Tuesday and Thursday Draws. Teams are drawn randomly for each Draw according to Member request of desired play time and position. Draws happen 2-3 times per year ensuring players have flexibility in time of play and also get to know other Members. There are many opportunities throughout the year to play in Cityview Curling Club bonspiels and events, Ottawa-wide Day Ladies Inter-Club and Ontario-wide Ladies Curling Association bonspiels. Day Ladies League and its events are run by volunteers and we rely on each other to help make committees and events run smoothly. We look forward to meeting you at our Welcome Luncheon and on the ice.

Monday Open Doubles League
Monday Open Doubles League
For curlers of all experience levels, Monday Open Doubles consists of fixed, two-player open teams. Offering a balance of recreational-to-competitive play across 4 divisions and 3 weekly draws (7:00pm, 8:20pm, 9:40pm), doubles is a fast-paced game that demands energy and attentiveness of all participants.
This is what makes doubles so fun and interesting! With only two players, everyone has to call their own line, or choose to get up and sweep your own stones. Sweeping alone means switching sides can be a real advantage, and even skips need to be able to judge weight and sweep those stones to the button!
It is a well-rounded game that gets everyone involved in the strategy, is challenging to even the most experienced curlers, while also being an excellent way to develop the skills for those newer to the sport of curling.
