Edward Charles Carroll passed away October 12, 2020 at the age of 62 at home as he wanted. He was a gift to his wife Cheryl Lynn Carroll (Pashak) and a loving father and step father to Sean Carroll (Allison Foley), Jenny Carroll, Kyle Matthews (Sadie Ropponen) and Duncan Matthews. A guide and teacher to his four special grandchildren who were a sparkle in his eye, Ivy Matthews, Chase Matthews, Hannah Carroll and Charlie Carroll. We want to honour Ed with as many people as we can and are hoping that by Easter Weekend, 2021 we will be able to do that. It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Ed Carroll, CVCC’s House Chair, on Monday 12 October 2020.
Ed was a long-time CVCC member, volunteer, and board member, whose many contributions to our club will not be forgotten. Most members knew him as the quiet guy who took care of CVCC, who could be called upon to spare for you at short notice and you would consider a close friend. He was always generous with his time, energy, & laughter. His care & attention to detail within the facility helped make CVCC a “second home” for us all, and he will be greatly missed.
Our deepest sympathies to Cheryl and her extended family in this difficult time.
