Emergency First Aid with CPR C & AED - May 3

Join us for a "Emergency First Aid Certification with CPR C and AED" course provided by Ottawa Paramedic Service on Saturday May 3. This will be an opportunity to learn life saving skills for both on and off the ice. Content will be geared to parents & individuals looking for a general level of first aid, CPR and the proper use of an AED.

Course content covers:

• Scene management and primary assessment
• Anatomy and physiology
• Adult, child and infant CPR and choking
• Automated external defibrillation (AED)
• Heart attack, angina, stroke and transient ischemic attack (TIA)
• Bleeding and burns
• Sprains, strains, dislocations and fractures
• Respiratory (asthma), anaphylaxis, seizures and diabetes

This course is being offered on Saturday April 26 and Saturday May 3.

The course is 9 hours in length (9am to 5pm) with two fifteen minute breaks and one hour for lunch (bring your own food). 

NOTE: Course will be cancelled if there are fewer than 10 people registered by one week prior to the course.

NOTE: There is no refund once you have registered. You can transfer your seat to another person.
